  • Breathwork and Ice bath sessions are an amazing way to bond with your team and experience the mental and physical benefits of breath and cold exposure. This 3 hour experience your team will be coached through the skills of emotional regulation and lean into the power of team connection and vulnerability. The afterglow of this session is incredible.

  • Teams often face crises or struggle with navigating complex social dynamics and boundaries. With their background as therapists, Ruth and Demetrio are experts in addressing and resolving issues stemming from dysfunctional team dynamics. They facilitate safe, open conversations that encourage understanding and collaboration, and work with players and coaches to develop actionable plans for effective conflict resolution. Their approach fosters a healthier, more cohesive environment, enabling teams to move past challenges and strengthen their connection

  • Modern Outlook performs team assessments to provide an understanding to coach and players of where the team is operating from an emotional standpoint. The assessments highlights needs, areas of strength and challenges as well as recommended interventions. MO staff provide 30 minute individual sessions to athletes and staff and then provide a formal review for the team and athletic staff. Team assessments can be particularly helpful when there is unresolved conflict, team trauma or difficulty gelling as a team.

  • Description: This talk emphasizes the critical connection between mental and physical health. We explore how stress affects the body and mind, and teach athletes practical tools for recovery, including mindfulness, breathwork, and relaxation techniques that enhance both mental clarity and physical performance.

Breathwork Workshop

A breathwork class for athletes is a focused session designed to enhance performance, recovery, and mental clarity through intentional breathing techniques. Led by an experienced instructor, the class begins with an introduction to how breathwork can optimize athletic abilities, reduce stress, and improve focus. Athletes are then guided through a series of targeted exercises, including deep diaphragmatic breathing, controlled inhales and exhales, and rhythmic patterns that promote endurance, energy, and recovery. These techniques help athletes regulate their nervous system, improve lung capacity, and stay calm under pressure. The session wraps up with a restorative breathing practice to promote relaxation and reduce muscle tension, leaving athletes feeling grounded and ready to perform. Breathwork classes offer athletes a simple, effective tool to support peak performance and overall well-being.

Ice Bath Workshop

Ice baths offer both mental and physical benefits for athletes. Physically, they reduce muscle inflammation, soreness, and fatigue by constricting blood vessels and flushing out waste products. This helps accelerate recovery as fresh, oxygen-rich blood returns to the muscles. Mentally, ice baths build resilience and mental toughness, as athletes learn to stay calm under discomfort. This improves stress management, focus, and clarity, making them more prepared for high-pressure situations.
